1. Surface correction:
The surface correction mill is installed in the coating line which will provide the following:
                A. Improvement in metallurgical properties in order to eliminate fluting-lines.
                B. Improved surface quality and flat-ness for preparation to painting.

2. Tension leveling unit:
In this stage, the shape of the substrate is corrected, through a unique effect of stretch and load, to get the uniform painting.

3. Cleaning Section:
This will remove mill oils, soluble contaminants and general dirt from the strips. The cleaning action is done by a system of high velocity caustic solution sprays, which are arranged to ensure a complete coverage of the strip. Additionally brush scrubbers are provided in the line, which will remove surface contaminations such as passivation, iron fines and heavy mill oil from the strip.  After alkali cleaning, hot water rinse tank is used to remove excess alkali solution from the strips, followed by cold water rinse tank for removing any residual alkali solution. This rinse utilizes de-mineralized water for extra cleanliness.

4. Chemical bonding section:
Specially formulated chromic chemical is applied on the substrate, using  high technology coating application method by a chemical coater. The chemical treatment allows strong bond formation between the zinccoated steel substrate and the colour coat.

5. Coating Section:
3-coat, 2-bake coating process is used. The 3 colour coats are:
(A) Primer: Generally primer can be applied on the top side of the sheet with special type PU (Polyurethane) primer  to improve the corrosion performance of the final product.
(B) Back Coat: It is the single coat application at the reverse side of the strip as protection to the strip or as a service coat.
(C) Top coat: The top coat is specially designed on polyester melamine system available in wide range of colours. It can be applied with different coating thickness as per the customer’s requirements. This polyester-Melamine system will give good aesthetic look with excellent flexibility, hardness, adhesion and excellent durability performance like colour and gloss retention.

6. Curing Section:
All the above-mentioned coating systems are baked in uniform, clean air circulation catenary type ovens for specified temperature setting to achieve designed peak metal temperature (PMT).

7. Forming Section:
We have four types of roll forming designs like U type, V type, cherry and trapezoidal profile.
