In 2016, Abul Khair Steel proudly introduced Zinkalum, an exceptional aluminum-zinc coated steel product in the Bangladesh steel market. Setting up a new industry benchmark by implementing cutting-edge American technology in steelmaking, Zinkalum has emerged as one of our phenomenal brands.

Using internationally recognized American continuous hot dip Aluminium-Zinc coating technology, Zinkalum has a high-grade coating composition of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon. Our plant uses State-of-the-Art ECL technology and Alkali to thoroughly clean impurities.

To ensure durability and flexibility, a Thin Organic Coating (TOC) is applied on both sides, which makes the sheet white and black corrosion-free, smudge, and stain-resistant. To ensure uniformity in the coating, we use a Strip Stabilizer and an Automated Coating Measurement & Control system. This remarkable bonding between the steel sheet and Aluminium-Zinc coating makes Zinkalum easy to paint.
