Introduced in 2016, Abul Khair Steel’s Zinkalum set a new benchmark in Bangladesh’s coated steel market. Engineered with advanced American continuous hot-dip Aluminium-Zinc technology, Zinkalum quickly became one of our signature brands, trusted for its durability, performance, and superior aesthetics.

At the heart of Zinkalum is its high-grade coating composition of 55% aluminium, 43.5% SHG zinc, and 1.5% silicon. Each steel strip undergoes a state-of-the-art ECL cleaning process using advanced alkali treatment to ensure maximum purity before coating.

To enhance protection and long-term performance, a Thin Organic Coating (TOC) is applied on both sides, making the sheets resistant to white rust, black corrosion, smudges, and stains. With the help of a Strip Stabilizer and Automated Coating Measurement & Control systems, Zinkalum maintains excellent coating uniformity and strong metallurgical bonding, making it highly flexible and easy to paint.
